The Echo Mobile Brake Control is the only mobile brake control in the market. It is world's first portable bluetooth enabled brake controller. It plugs into your vehicle and wirelessly connects to your smartphone so that you can control and monitor all trailer brake activity from your own device. It comes with a customizable app for IOS (Apple) and Android phones. Echo is powered by a Bluetooth-enabled system that connects with your smartphone.
The Echo brake control is very easy to install. It simply plugs into your standard 7 way RV blade socket at the rear of your vehicle and provides a socket to plug in the trailer harness. it also features automatic calibration to help eliminate setup requirements. It comes with a custom designed app that you download in your smartphone. The app connects the wireless brake control to your smartphone and displays the brake control settings and activities.
The Echo trailer brake control system is made to be outside the vehicle, which is why it is engineered for maximum weather resistance. It is made with a potted enclosure, meaning the inside of the unit is filled with an epoxy resin which seals off the internal components from moisture and the elements. This makes the device long lasting even in rain, snow, dirt, mud and more. The Echo has a soft locking tab for connecting to the 7 way RV blade plugs which reduces vibrations and also improves connectivity.
The Echo brake control operates using a triple-axis motion-sensing accelerometer- an integrated circuit that produces smooth and safe stops every time. This device is compatible with two to four trailer brakes (one to two axles) and can be used with low voltage or PWM wiring systems. It is also compatible with cruise control and ABS brakes and has built-in reverse-polarity protection and short-circuit protection.
